John M. Cox

Acox.htmlJohn M. Cox is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, Dallas Bar Association, Texas Association of Defense Counsel, and the Defense Research Institute. Since 1997, he has served on faculties for the National Institute For Trial Advocacy at the Southern Regional Trial Skills and Southern Deposition Courses, which provide instruction and training to practicing attorneys in the skills of depositions and trial techniques. He has served on the visiting faculties of the LSU School of Law Trial Advocacy program in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (1997, 2015) instructing third year law students, the Emory University School of Law Trial Advocacy program in Atlanta, Georgia (1998-2001, 2005, 2006, 2008), instructing second year law students, and on the Adjunct Faculty of the Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, Texas in trial advocacy (2000, 2003, 2017, 2018); and, at trial academies sponsored by the Texas Association of Defense Counsel (2009, 2012, 2013) and the Dallas Bar Association (2011, 2013, 2014). He is a graduate of Texas A&M (B.A. 1984) and St. Mary's Law School (J.D. 1987). He practices in the areas of complex/catastrophic personal injury defense, wrongful death and survival actions, products liability, premises liability, professional liability and malpractice, medical, pharmacy, and mental health professional liability and malpractice, transportation (trucking) and automobile accident litigation, environmental litigation, commercial litigation, insurance coverage litigation, and construction litigation. Leigh M. Taylor

Leigh Taylor is a Dallas, Texas native with experience in handling a broad spectrum of complex civil litigation, including insurance defense, premises liability, products liability, construction defects and disputes, wrongful death and survival claims, serious trucking litigation, fire cases, toxic tort and mold litigation, general negligence and commercial disputes. She also has experience in defending complicated real estate disputes. Over the course of her career, Leigh has aggressively pursued all remedies available to her clients and obtained many favorable settlements on high dollar claims. Richard A. Harwell - of Counsel

Richard A. Harwell is a member of the State Bar of Texas (Insurance Law and Appellate Sections). He is a graduate of University of North Texas (B.A. 1991) and Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law (J.D. 1998). He practices in the areas of personal injury defense and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on appeals, insurance coverage matters, and complex motion practice. Richard has been associated with several papers, lectures and seminars presented at state approved CLE courses, including Recent Supreme Court Cases and the Impact on Insurance Coverage, Texas Law Update 2009; Premises Liability, Advanced Personal Injury Law Course 2009; and Status Update: Discovery in the World of Social Networking, Texas Law Update 2011.
